Shift Supervisor EAF Melting - work in melting operations responsible for Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), supervision, training, safety, process improvement, quality, SOP, planning, team development, performance assessments, best practices, etc. Experience supervising union employees. Improve production volume, reduce delays, improve reliability. Experience in continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing, especially in steel or other primary metals, required. Strong background in automation, as used in the steel industry a +. Will consider candidates have completed H.S. and have solid experience in the steel making or other heavy industry. Experience in Electric Furnace Melting, AOD Refining, or Continuous Casting preferred. Knowledge of MS Office tools for reports and data collection. Experience with continuous improvement in a safety-first environment. Able to work different shifts, weekends, as needed. Must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
